Forest Lake Area Safety Camp is a program designed with children's safety in mind. At camp, children have the opportunity to experience and learn about a variety of safety issues, such as first aid from trained Emergency Medical Services personnel, bike maintenance, trail safety and laws relating to bike riding, fire safety, and electrical safety. Other issues relating to safe streets and personal safety will also be addressed.

Forest Lake Safety Camp came together as a vision of three community-minded individuals who, after a very tragic bicycle accident, were particularly concerned about the health and safety of the children in our community. As Safety Camp took shape, they soon realized that there were many aspects of safety to be addressed with kids in a fun and exciting way.

Pre-registration is required. Space is limited to the first 45 kids! We look forward to seeing your kids this year at Safety Camp.

Mission Statement

The Forest Lake Safety Camp mission is to provide a wide range of safety instruction in a one day mini camp designed to heighten daily awareness and practices for community children.

Vision

To coordinate and facilitate collaboration between departments of community safety, public service organizations, and area businesses, with the express goal of promoting safety awareness to children through meaningful instruction and community involvement.
