A word from the Chief of Police...

The police department is making a lot of new and exciting changes to improve communication, education, protection, and security to our community. This will all be accomplished in an efficient and cost effective manner, utilzing our current resources.

Some changes that will be implemented as of January 2012 are a new Captain's position and a new Community Policing/Crime Prevention Investigator's position. These two positions will be accomplished with a reorganization of the police department's personnel and will allow us to better serve our community.
